The Problem
The Web3 ecosystem loses billions of dollars annually to scams, rug pulls, phishing attacks, and protocol exploits. Despite the public nature of blockchain data, there is no unified, community-driven registry that aggregates scammer intelligence across chains, platforms, and incident types. REKTgistry was built to fill that gap.
What We Built
REKTgistry is a community-powered scam registry for the Web3 space. Users can submit reports on individuals, projects, and protocol exploits. Each profile aggregates wallet addresses, social handles, evidence links, and victim accounts — all searchable in a public, verifiable directory.
Community Governance
Reports are submitted by the community and reviewed by moderators before appearing publicly. Any listed entity can submit an appeal with counter-evidence. Disputes over report accuracy can be raised through a structured process. The registry operates as a public record — not a legal determination.
Data Sources
REKTgistry aggregates data from DeFi Rekt, GoPlus Labs, Chainabuse, MetaMask eth-phishing-detect, ScamSniffer, OFAC SDN, SlowMist Hacked, Forta Network, ZachXBT research, PeckShield alerts, and community submissions. Each source is labelled and attributed on every profile.
Technology Stack
Built on Next.js 16 with a Supabase PostgreSQL backend. Full-text search, real-time moderation queue, on-chain address flagging, and a public REST API for third-party integrations. Deployed on Vercel with edge caching for global performance.
Roadmap
Q2 2026: Public API v1 + wallet lookup endpoint. Q3 2026: On-chain verified reports via IPFS attestation. Q4 2026: Browser extension for real-time scam alerts. Q1 2027: Cross-chain identity graph linking wallets, ENS, and social handles.
Legal Notice
All profiles on REKTgistry represent allegedcommunity-reported activity and have not been legally verified. The terms "scammer" and "fraud" refer to reported behaviour, not legal determinations. REKTgistry does not guarantee the accuracy of any submission. Listed entities may appeal via darktrace-web3.vercel.app/appeal.
